With a head-heavy balance and 10mm longer than a standard racket, the Astrox 88D badminton racket is the hard-hitting backcourt doubles player's delight. Specially designed for backcourt players in a doubles game to dominate opponents, the Yonex Astrox 88 D badminton racket helps in creating chances by penetrating through the opponents' defenses.

Making the whole frame flexible allows the“ASTROX 88 S” to hold the shuttlecock for accurate control, while the“ASTROX 88 D” has more flex in the upper part of the frame transmitting maximum power to the shuttlecock to break through the opponents. In addition, the overall length of the“88 S” is only 5mm longer, which enhances both accuracy and power while the“88 D” is 10 mm longer to provide powerful attacks.

The new shape allows the shaft to flex, which ensures the maximum effect of “Namd[1](more flex and faster kick-back graphite material)” and stabilizes the racquet face by preventing the shaft twisting, increasing control

Where is my order shipped from?
  • All orders are shipped from our warehouse located in Schaumburg, IL (suburb of Chicago).
How long will it take for me to receive my order?
  • The delivery time varies. Here are typical deliver times (ground service) to different regions across continental USA:
  • Midwest: 2 - 3 business days
  • East Coast: 3 – 4 business days
  • Southwest: 4 – 5 business days
  • West Coast: 4 – 5 business days
  • We also have expedited (2-day & 3-day) shipping options available for guaranteed delivery.
  • The Astrox 88S, with more flex in the frame than the Astrox 88D, is still a head heavy racket suited for players who like a head heavy frame. Ideal stringing tension of 25lbs allows for powerful smashes and good repulsion. Overall, the Astrox 88S is good for doubles and can also double up as a singles racket. However, its head heavy frame can be a disadvantage during long rallies. Pros: Excellent power and repulsion Cons: Not ideal for long rallies during singles play.
