Check out the Yonex Voltric ZForce2 badminton racket. The ultra-thin, yet super stiff shaft and ultra-aerodynamic head shape allows the shuttle to be hit with increased power, reducing the deceleration of the shuttle and allowing it to be returned with sustained, ultimate power.

What makes the Voltric ZForce2 badminton racket unique? It is one of the first badminton rackets with an ultra-thin shaft and smaller yet ultra-aerodynamic frame for precise shot making. Since its introduction in 2014, it has become one of all time favorite singles badminton rackets from Yonex and is still active in the 2019 Yonex badminton catalog.

  • Having survived Yonex's rapid innovation in techonology - it is still very much active in Yonex's catalog, the Yonex Zforce 2 badminton racket stands to be one of its most popular offerings. First thing that comes to mind when you hold this racket - solid feel. Even when you hold the 4U version (80-85 gms), this frame has a more solid feel than other Yonex 4U offerings. The primary reason - it is extremely head heavy. It is by far the most head heavy racket in the market. Combine that with a smaller head size, it has a more precise sweet spot. That is, an advanced player can generate incredible power on his or her shots. An extra stiff shaft means the advanced player gets better control on shots and drops. All good for the advanced player. Not so much for the intermediate or beginner. They may experience mishits and misdirected shots because they are unable to use its smaller head heavy frame and super stiff shaft. In summary, this is a great racket for the advanced player , may not be ideal for the intermediate player. Perhaps, the intermediate player can use this racket in shot bursts to help improve his or her game until such time they become comfortable with this racket.
