BW starting suggestion: 24–25 lbs for players comfortable at moderate tension.

Consider 22–24 lbs for a more forgiving string bed. Choose a familiar string and adjust gradually rather than starting at the maximum.

  • BG80 — consider if you prefer a textured, firmer feel.
