A firm attacking response with a distinctive purple finish.
The Victor Thruster Ryuga II Pro CPS brings the Ryuga II Pro platform to the Capsule Collection in Grape Purple. Its stiff, head-heavy setup suits players who prefer deliberate overhead attacking strokes and a direct response.
Choose 3U/G5 or 4U/G6. A 6.6 shaft, PYROFIL reinforcement, FREE CORE handle and POWER RING PRO connection form the core of this model’s construction. Select your weight and string setup for comfort and timing, rather than choosing by maximum tension alone.

3U/G5 vs 4U/G6 — Weight & Grip Guide
3U/G5
The heavier weight class may suit players who prefer more mass through overhead shots. G5 is the larger of the two handles offered here.
4U/G6
The lighter weight class is worth considering for repeated defensive recoveries and faster exchanges. G6 is smaller than G5 and can be built up with an overgrip.
Neither option guarantees more power or speed. Choose a comfortable configuration that lets you keep your timing through a full session. Strings and grips change finished weight and balance. Read our 3U vs 4U guide.
Stringing & Tension Recommendations
BW starting suggestion: EXBOLT 65 at 24–25 lbs.
For players already comfortable at moderate tension, this is a useful all-court starting point. Consider 22–24 lbs if you want a more forgiving string bed.
- EXBOLT 65 — responsive feel; consider 24–25 lbs.
- BG80 — textured, firmer response; consider 24–25 lbs.
- EXBOLT 68 — thicker durability-focused alternative; consider 24–26 lbs.
Maximum: 3U 32 lbs; 4U 31 lbs. These are manufacturer limits, not target tensions. BW’s suggestions are starting guidance. Supplied unstrung unless custom stringing is selected; check available strings, services and charges before ordering.
Who Is This Racket For?
Best considered by intermediate-to-advanced singles or doubles players who already enjoy a stiff, head-heavy racket. If a flexible shaft or a very light swing is your priority, compare other models before choosing this one.
